Depending on how much production is required for your event, you may want to consider finding a good external agency to help. For example, if you have a large amount of people attending, or a huge event schedule with lots of conference sessions that will need presentation slides formatting, this might stretch the average PA’s skills. Whereas if it’s just an internal event there may only be a small workload that you can manage yourself.

Aubrey Blanche, Atlassian’s Global Head of Diversity Inclusion, has overseen an impressive 80% jump in women joining the technical team. In a field that’s all about uncertainty and running experiments, Blanche’s have clearly worked. One of her most successful initiatives has been standardizing the way current and prospective staff members are evaluated. One of the major ways people move up in organizations is by gaining visibility while working on large projects. To make sure everyone has this opportunity, you should standardize the way people are selected for high-profile projects — something that is often very subjective or ad hoc. “Write down the qualities that you want the ideal person to embody,” says Blanche. “Rather than going with the people who jump to mind first, pick based solely on how well someone matches up to those desired qualities.” The same mindset should be applied to job candidates. Focus on skills rather than specific experience. Why say “B.S. in computer science” when you really mean “experience building high-quality software”? Or instead of “startup experience preferred,” perhaps you really mean “ability to work in close collaboration with a team in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment”? Blanche recommends standardizing all interviews around a specific set of questions that indicate behaviors that are successful at your company, and then generating a list of appropriate answers.

Take cash as oxygen- How much money you require to keep your business active and how long you are going to use the same? Do you have this much of fund in your account through which you can carry the basic expenses associated with your business such as rent and overhead? It is the biggest matter of concern for all first-time entrepreneurs. They should make sure that their actions should respond to the bleeding of funds that take place before they start getting profits. Extra information can be seen on Online marketing tips.

Starting a business can be an important time for anyone. Independence, freedom in elections, the possibility to make one’s own decisions can be an essential change in a person’s life. But the business must also be viewed seriously, and for this purpose it is necessary to attach a special importance to the first steps. So don’t lie down and don’t just think about the good parts that your own business offers. Be hardworking and make sure your business is successful and profitable, especially. Otherwise, for nothing you have independence and freedom in elections, if you have no reason to interfere.

I like welding so today’s subject is : High quality online provider to purchase span gas UK. Of course the right shielding gas is not the only consideration – your safety when using high-pressure cylinders is also paramount. It’s important to go to a reputable company to rent your shielding gases, so you can be sure strict standards are met and cylinders comply with regulations. Renting a cylinder from WSD (weldingsuppliesdirect.co.uk) gives you peace of mind. You know it is well maintained and renting can also be more cost effective. Find out why it’s good to rent. It’s also a priority to use the right safety equipment such as helmets and gloves, which you can also find through WSD (weldingsuppliesdirect.co.uk).

Low cost, high quality: Argon is widely used because, like CO2, it is low cost. It is odourless, colourless, and known for not reacting to high levels of elements like oxygen or water. So why use it over CO2? As we mentioned, CO2 yields imperfect results, as it leaves openings for oxygen to compromise the weld. Argon, on the other hand, is much more stable and controllable. It keeps the molten weld from getting damaged, becoming brittle and breaking, and can be used with other gases such as helium to enhance the quality. The perfect choice would be a mix of argon and something else. Argon would always be the gas with the largest quantity though. See extra details on Ammonia calibration gas.

When considering a shielding gas for welding aluminum, we need to consider the differences between argon and argon helium mixtures. In order to understand the effect of these gases on the welding operation, we can examine the properties of each gas in fig 1. We can see immediately that the ionization potential and the thermal conductivity of the helium shielding gas is much higher than that of argon. These characteristics have the effect of producing greater heat when welding with additions of helium in the shielding gas.

Ozone can be generated by reaction between UV light from the arc and oxygen in the air. The exposure limit for ozone is 0.2ppm for a 15-minute reference period. At the levels of exposure to ozone found in welding the main concern is irritation of the upper airways, characterised by coughing and tightness in the chest, but uncontrolled exposure may lead to more severe effects, including lung damage. MIG welding of aluminium alloys with an aluminium/silicon filler wire generates by far the highest concentrations of ozone. Using an aluminium filler wire generates substantially less ozone, and using an aluminium/magnesium filler wire generates the least ozone when MIG welding aluminium alloys. Other process/material combinations that may generate hygienically significant concentrations of ozone are MAG/mild steel, MAG/Stainless steel and TIG/stainless steel.

A perfect welding result, without impairment of corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, can only be obtained when using a backing gas with very low oxygen content. For best results, a maximum of 20 ppm O2 at the root side can be tolerated. This can be achieved with a purging setup and can be controlled with a modern oxygen meter. Pure argon is by far the most common gas for root protection of stainless steels. Formier gas (N2 + 5 – 12% H2) is an excellent alternative for conventional austenitic steels. The gas contains an active component, H2, which brings down the oxygen level in the weld area.

There are no rental charges on the cylinders. A large range of Calibration Gas regulator(s) are available from stock. Carry cases to compliment the cylinders are also available. The cylinders are non-refillable. Source: https://www.weldingsuppliesdirect.co.uk/industrial-gas/specialist-gases.html.

It’s practically not possible for commerce merchants to do their business without receiving payments from credit or debit cards. Before you can accept “plastic,” you need a payment processor who acts as a link between you, banks, and credit card networks. Lots of financial processors do business exclusively with low-risk businesses, who they consider as a low risk investment. That means businesses considered high-risk will have a very small selection of potential processors to choose from. Any processor you approach will take a careful, detailed look at your business to determine if you fall under their definition of “high risk,” based on the financial risk your company represents.

Make sure you ask about all other fees upfront as well: Fixed transaction fees – are they charged for declined transactions as well, are there any contract cancellation fees, minimum monthly invoice, how much is the setup fee and if it has to be paid upfront, is there any additional annual and monthly fee, how much will you be charged for every statement and bank wire, and very importantly what are the chargeback, retreival and refund fees. You may know that you will get your funds but you also need to know when exactly. Every credit card processing provider and acquiring bank will have different remittance turnaround times. It mainly depends on your risk category and the type of merchant account setup – for example, a direct MID setup where acquirer is paying you directly means less time because there’s no need for funds to reach the Processor company first and then be forwarded to your bank account.

Based in Woodland Hills, California, PaymentCloud is a merchant account provider that specializes in serving high risk business types. This includes CBD and Kratom businesses. The company’s products and services include point-of-sale solutions, mobile phone swipers, an online payment gateway and virtual terminal, EMV-compatible terminals, and merchant cash advances. PaymentCloud provides a dedicated account rep to all new merchants for the life of the account. The company has not received any negative complaints on consumer forums, and it customizes its pricing according to each merchant’s business type and processing history.

High risk gateway in 2019. This is a popular topic as more countries open up to new products. High-risk merchant accounts are a collection of financial services that offers firms to accept card payments from clients. Credit card processors assign merchants to one of two categories: high risk or low (normal) risk, based on a number of factors. High-risk merchants face reduced options in processors, plus raised fees and harsh contracts. Being labeled as high-risk sounds terrible. But in some cases, it can be your only option. We have been writing about multiple aspects of the high-risk merchant account industry for years and have probably reached on most, if not all, of the most important issues. Here are some more advices on high risk credit card processing. Read extra info on Free high risk merchant account.

CardMax Payments offers flexible accounts, easy set-up, and competitive pricing. Relationships with more than 30 domestic and international banking providers help CardMax provide exceptional service and support. We worked with all of the high risk credit card processors, to be able to compare and a strong choice is iPayTotal. They cover all business types, have a vast experience in the business, fast customer support and low fees.

You’ll also want the best pricing plans and contract terms you can get. Here’s where a dose of reality comes in. There are several truly outstanding merchant account providers that we’ve awarded 5-star ratings to, and with good reason. They offer low interchange-plus (or subscription) pricing, month-to-month contracts, and excellent customer service and support. Unfortunately, one of the ways they keep their costs down and can offer such great terms to their merchants is by avoiding the high-risk category altogether. In other words, you won’t get approved for an account with them if they decide that you fall into the high-risk category.

Our National and International Connections with Acquiring Partners gives us the edge to offer Reliable Credit, Debit and Echeck Processing to almost every industry which is considered high risk. No Matter if you are located in USA, Australia, Latin America, EU or Africa. We have the capabilities of getting the right payment processor for your high-risk merchant account. Today, consumers expect to shop for your products or services online, therefore it is vital to offer a secure, convenient online shopping, otherwise, you’re missing out on significant sales revenue. We understand your need to offer a hassle-free solution. We review your business details and select appropriate banking partners amongst our network of acquiring banks and regulated EU payment institutions. For no additional fee, we work closely with you throughout the application process.

Here are a few tips about MIG welders and how to make the best buying picks. Flat-Position Welding Increases Welding Speed : It’s common knowledge that welding in a horizontal position will be the easiest and fastest way to weld. A flat position is not as taxing to maintain and the welding puddle will stay in place. Take some time to evaluate each project before beginning in order to make sure the majority of welds can be completed in this position. If a job calls for vertical welding, see this article about vertical welding. Core Wire Feeder Increases TIG Welding Speed: For professional welders hoping to speed up TIG welding, a core wire feeder will add filler metal through an automated process. Watch this video on how it works. This enables welders to work with both hands and to maintain a constant flow of wire into the welding puddle. Ed Craig at the Frabricator writes about the wire feeder process first developed in Europe, saying it is “suitable for all-position welding on materials of any thickness, the process addresses traditional GTAW limitations and can enhance both manual and automated TIG weld quality and productivity.”

When appearance counts, TIG welding creates a high quality, clean weld that is far less likely to distort the metal by using a nonconsumable tungsten electrode. There is no need to worry about splatter because it only uses the necessary amount of filler metal needed in the welding puddle, making for the highest quality weld in every respect. However, TIG is fairly specialized and requires a good deal of training in order to master it—so make sure any TIG welder purchase is paired with a plan to take welding classes. Instead of the point and shoot simplicity of MIG welding, TIG requires the use of a foot pedal to regulate the welding process. A filler rod that is separate from the torch that must be fed in gradually. Many professional welders prefer TIG because it can weld a wide variety of metals and because of the versatility of argon gas used during TIG welding. There is no slag to block the view of the weld puddle. Argon gas can weld any metal at any thickness with TIG welding, and therefore there is no need to change the gas depending on the project.

One of the “cardinal sins” that almost every shop commits is over-welding. This means that if the drawing calls for a 1/4″ fillet weld, most shops will put down a 5/16″ weld. The reasons? Either they don’t have a fillet gauge and are not exactly sure of the size of the weld they are producing or they put in some extra to “cover” themselves and make sure there is enough weld metal in place. But, over-welding leads to tremendous consumable waste. Let’s look again at our example. For a 1/4″ fillet weld, the typical operator will use .129 lbs. per foot of weld metal. The 5/16″ weld requires .201 lbs. per foot of weld metal – a 56 percent increase in weld volume compared to what is really needed. Plus, you must take into account the additional labor necessary to put down a larger weld. Not only is the company paying for extra, wasted consumable material, a weld with more weld metal is more likely to have warpage and distortion because of the added heat input. It is recommended that every operator be given a fillet gauge to accurately produce the weld specified – and nothing more. In addition, changes in wire diameter may be used to eliminate over-welding. Looking for the best MIG Welders? We recommend Welding Supplies Direct & associated company TWS Direct Ltd is an online distributor of a wide variety of welding supplies, welding equipment and welding machine. We supply plasma cutters, MIG, TIG, ARC welding machines and support consumables to the UK, Europe and North America.

Get filler metal charts to let you choose correct rods for whatever materials you are welding: Alcotecs Aluminum filler metal chart . Go online to alcotec.com for an aluminum filler wire chart. You probably won’t find a filler metal chart that covers welding dissimilar metals so here is your filler metal chart right here: are you ready? Here it is… if it you don’t know what metal you are welding, but it sparks when you grind it, and it is not titanium, try using hastelloy W. or 312 stainless. Hastelloy W TIG welding rod has become extremely expensive. 312 stainless is also a very good rod choice for welding steel of unknown composition. For a critical weld, you should not just rely on 312 without knowing the metal type..you should determine the metal type for any critical weld.

A few TIG welders advices: how to become a better welder and how to pick the top welding equipment. TIG Torch angle should only be around 10 degrees or less: Ideally, torch angle should only be around 10 degrees or less. Too much torch angle will deflect the heat and melt the rod before you ever get it into the puddle. This causes the rod to ball up and blob into the puddle. That’s bad. You don’t want that. You want to slip the filler rod into the puddle so that you can get a consistent bead. There are exceptions to this…like when you are using a lay wire technique and leaning the torch back while you walk the cup. But if you are dipping the rod in the puddle, too much torch angle usually is not a good thing.

Before you start welding, make sure all of your connections are tight — from the front of the MIG gun to the power pin attaching it to the power source. Also be certain there is no spatter buildup on your consumables and that you have a ground cable as close to the workspace as possible. Whenever possible, hook the ground cable on the weldment. If that is not possible, hook it to a bench. But remember: The closer it is to the arc, the better. If you have a questionable ground, it can cause the gun to overheat, impacting contact tip life and weld quality. In addition, regularly clean any shavings from the welding wire or debris that collects on your consumable parts and in your liner using clean compressed air.

Just about everyone who tries TIG welding feels challenged at first. This is understandable, given all the things you have to watch for and think about, while simultaneously coordinating the motion of both hands. In most cases, a foot pedal or torch-mounted amperage control will be used — for starting, modulating and stopping the flow of current. I have coached many people as they learn these skills, and I have received my share of questions over the years. Here are a few frequently asked questions — and answers — that should be helpful, particularly for beginning and intermediate welders. Source: https://www.weldingsuppliesdirect.co.uk/.

Positioning in the home should avoid direct and indirect sources of heat. The distance to the walls must be at least 10 cm, especially the back where there is usually the heat exchanger. If the refrigerator is mounted in the body of the furniture it must be provided with artificial ventilation with the help of a mini ventilator or the creation of ventilation spaces in the top or bottom that allow the air circulation.

The refrigerant condenser should be cleaned every six months and this is not a very complicated operation, but you must take into account some rules. First, remove the refrigerator from the socket. There is a risk of electric shock when working with live parts. Identify where the capacitor is. For most refrigerator models, it is installed on the rear wall, but in some cases it may be under the refrigerator. If you are not sure, look for the necessary information in the User Manual. Use a soft brush to remove dust and other deposits from the condenser. Do not use chemicals. For hard to reach places, use a vacuum cleaner to which you mounted the end with a brush. Clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner and a damp cloth. Reconnect the refrigerator to the electricity source. Looking for San Juan Capistrano refrigerator repair providers ? We recommend see DNVappliance website!

Tip of the day: The first step you should take in choosing a fridge is to figure out what size will fit in your kitchen, then decide on the door style. Today, most people tend to go for French-door fridges because they look sleek and have wide shelves and drawers that keep fruits and veggies at eye level. You may prefer a side-by-side model if you want a bigger freezer, a classic top-freezer if you’re on a budget, or a counter-depth fridge to save valuable space and give your kitchen an airier feel. (We recommend specific models in our guide to the best fridges). What we don’t cover in this guide are specialty fridges, like built-in or integrated units, but our advice on the features to consider when buying any new fridge will apply to those, too.

Though not strictly a category unto its own, bar fridges are handy to mention as a lot of people are undoubtedly looking into buying one as the summer season rolls around. Bar fridges benefit from being very cheap to purchase, easy to transport and they basically get the job done when it comes to keeping drinks cold. Many are under 100L, and some are even smaller in capacity than 50L. However a good idea they might seem, bar fridges are rather energy-inefficient relative to their size. In fact they often use similar amounts of electricity as regular-sized fridges, but at less than a quarter of its capacity.

We will review the best CCTV security solutions, while presenting one of the best providers on the UK CCTV security market. Lorex’s heavy metal home security camera is designed with a 112-degree wide field view, 4K image sensor and 4K video recording to be four times better than 1080p HD video for clear, crisp image quality. With this outdoor security camera, you’ll be able to see crystal clear color camera footage within 200 feet at night. This Lorex security camera also connects to your network video recorder (NVR) to create up to four zones with adjustable motion sensitivity for each.

Envision provide its clients with a dedicated facilities management service. WorkPal allows each installation to be treated as a project. Installs can be planned in advance, and every key milestone documented. Through WorkPal, our engineers can log site details, specifications, forms and full RAMS. Clients can then access all management information, and view an audit trail of the job from commencement to completion. See more info at Envision facilities for CCTV solutions.

Nearly all outdoor security cameras are equipped with a motion sensor that will trigger the camera to record video when motion is detected. The sensor can also initiate a push alert to your phone when activity is taking place, and some will also generate an email alert. For an extra layer of security, look for a camera with sound detection that can let you know if somebody is out there even if they’re out of range of the camera lens and the motion sensor. Fair warning: You’ll probably have to tweak the sound sensitivity settings to avoid alerts from barking dogs, loud cars, and other random noises. No matter the resolution, try to choose a camera with a relatively wide field of view (viewing angle) and make sure it can capture clear night vision video. Most cameras use IR (infrared) LEDs to deliver black-and-white night video, but there are a few out there that use white light to deliver full-color night video. Look for a camera with a night vision range of at least 30 feet.

Envision aim to deliver affordable and innovative security solutions that meet your needs and provide you the ultimate protection. We design, install, maintain and monitor a range of security products and services internationally. Our services provide the extra peace of mind you need and the protection of your assets. From the ARC, we monitor the doors and barriers, ensuring secure access only when permitted. See more info on https://envision-is.co.uk/.

This ANNKE CCTV system is one of the most popular on the market. A low price point and overwhelming positive reviews helped the ANNKE make our top five. The ANNKE’s video timeline shows where moments of motion occurred so you can easily skim back and see the video activity for the day, which is a big plus for this system. The ANNKE also has the same motion-detection zone feature as the Amcrest. However, you get what you pay for, and with a lower price point, this system won’t give you all the extra features some other CCTV systems have. Many similarly priced systems include a hard drive, which this system does not. One of the biggest complaints about the ANNKE is that the cameras are made out of plastic, which makes it easy to strip the screws, so make sure you’re careful installing all the components. Customers also report less-than-stellar night vision quality beyond 15 feet. Similar to the JOANN system above, you get about 10 days of recording with four cameras in 1080p at 12fps. But always consult with a CCTV professional company!

Today we writeabout additional teaching info, with a focus on The Music Educator. Successful teachers bring fun into the classroom: Don’t be too serious. Some days, “fun” should be the goal. When students feel and see your humanness, it builds a foundation of trust and respect. Fun and educational aren’t mutually exclusive either. Using humor can make even the most mundane topic more interesting. Successful teachers teach holistically: Learning does not happen in a vacuum. Depression, anxiety, and mental stress have a severe impact on the educational process. It’s crucial that educators (and the educational model) take the whole person into account. You can have the funniest and most innovative lesson on algebra, but if your student has just been told his parents are getting a divorce, you will not reach him. Successful teachers never stop learning: Good teachers find time in their schedule to learn themselves. Not only does it help bolster your knowledge in a certain subject matter, it also puts you in the position of student. This gives you a perspective about the learning process that you can easily forget when you’re always in teaching mode.

Model expectations for your students. Interactively model how to complete an activity or task. We often offer multiple, repeated opportunities when teaching “academic” skills (e.g., letter sounds, math computations), but typically neglect to offer multiple, repeated opportunities for practicing behavioral routines (e.g., lining up at the door, pushing in their chairs). Say what you mean and mean what you say. If you make a request of a student, follow through with that request. If you cannot follow through, avoid placing the demand or providing the instruction. Know yourself and adjust expectations (for yourself and your students) accordingly. Read more info at Teacher Advices.

Learning is not only for young people. Whether you want to learn how to use email, browse the Internet, do video calls with your grandkids, purchase gifts or other items online, or share and view photos with friends and family, it’s easier than you think. If you have a family member (grandkids are naturals!) or friend to show you some basics, that’s great. If not, then there are several choices out there. Where do you start? Good news, there are lots of places for seniors to go and get computer literate.

Since writing by hand is something that they are used to, get them a notebook specifically for writing down any steps they need to remember. If they get lost or forget how to do something, they can jog their memory from their own handwriting. A good website for senior learning is Tech for Seniors tutorials.

Music education is hot this days, many people try to learn music, for various reasons. There are a few podcasts that focuses on teaching people about music and one of them is The Music Educator by Bill Stevens. Make a long-term lesson plan that incorporates games. Divide your students into teams and award a few points in each lesson. Depending on the class and their projects you could award a point to the best student in each lesson. You could give points for correct answers and even for a positive attitude. Decide on a monthly and yearly prize for the winning team. This works especially well with younger children. But even teenagers can enjoy a competition if the prize is attractive. Being able to compete in a healthy and cheerful manner is a valuable skill for students to learn. It combines well with collaborative activities. But, it is important to make sure that no student feels left out when using a competition as part of your teaching. Keep track of prize winners and try to award a range of prizes so that every student has a good chance of winning at least once.

Advice of the day for music teachers : Set Ground Rules Early: Be sure to set classroom ground rules and policies early with your students, even if they are minimal. Setting ground rules early is important because it establishes the foundation for the rest of the year. Remember, it’s much easier to set strict ground rules early and loosen them up as the year goes on than the other way around.

You can listen to the The Music Educator podcast by using the app from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.themusiceducatorpodcast.android.music. You can learn more about Bill Steven by checking his website at https://www.4themusiceducator.com/.

Let’s write about how to achieve a very big GMAT score and, as a result, we will offer some tips about all GMAT issues, focusing on advices about how to prepare for your exams. When in Doubt, Go Short: In addition to the rules of grammar, you also have to keep an eye out for concision and clarity on sentence correction questions. Often—but not always—the most concise answer will be the correct one. When in doubt, scan the shortest of the answer choices for errors, and then pick it if you can’t find any. When you come across a passage-based question, read the passage first, not the question. This is often the better strategy for two reasons. First, you can only see one question at a time, but there will be three or four questions for each passage. So if you read the passage trying to “hone in” on the answer to the first question, you might subconsciously disregard aspects of the passage that are important for the subsequent questions. Want to improve your GMAT score by 60 points?

Be the elephant : Having a good memory comes in handy when taking the GMAT. After you’ve been studying for a while, redo questions you answered incorrectly at the start, to see if you have a new perspective, suggests Dennis Yim, Kaplan Test Prep’s director of academics. Just keep practicing. Keep a steady pace: “The GMAT is not a test you want to, or can cram for,” says Yim. “You need a long, realistic runway, and you need to make sure you have a game plan that focuses on learning strategies that you can take with you to test day.” In addition, you have to work within a certain timeframe. Take timed practice tests as often as you can to get used to the process and reduce stress, says Mike McGarry, GMAT curriculum manager at Magoosh.

One of the most painful things in the GMAT world is a massive test-day letdown. If you spend time on any of the GMAT forums, you’ll see tons of anguished posts that share a similar trait: a huge discrepancy between test-takers’ practice test scores and their actual GMAT scores. In the geeky spirit of GMAT CR, our goal in this article is to help you resolve that discrepancy. So here are seven reasons why your test-day scores might be lower than your practice test scores: If you’re a regular reader of our little GMAT blog, you’ve heard this story before: the GMAT spends somewhere between $1500 and $3000 developing every official test question, and even the best test-prep companies can’t possibly compete with that. Of course, it’s even harder for test-prep companies to combine those (inevitably somewhat flawed) questions into a realistic practice test. For example, test-prep companies struggle to mimic the GMAT’s use of experimental questions, or the exact mix of, say, geometry and probability questions. See extra info at perfect GMAT score.

Understand What “Computer-Adaptive” Means : The GMAT is a Computer-Adaptive Test (CAT), meaning it keeps a running tally of your score as it goes, based on the number of questions you get correct and their levels of difficulty. The computer-adaptive sections always begin by giving you a medium question. If you get it correct, the computer gives you a slightly harder question. If you get it wrong, the computer gives you a slightly easier question, and so on.

Testing: after you finish teaching, write down a series of questions on a sheet of paper and try to answer them without looking in the manual or on the note sheets. Personal testing after each repeated lesson is the most efficient stage of the learning process. Reduce irrelevant activities: When you have a lot of books to read, try to read faster, do not get lost in thoughts and need to resume reading, and if you have long texts, try to reorder the keys so that don’t waste time looking for them.
