Being a cat owner, you surely would have been through a situation when you are off to bed and all set to get some z’s and your feline bounces off upon you on the bed in a mood to take down the entire house. Well, get your feline a cat bed, will you? According to many of the animal experts, there actually is a biological reason that justifies this behavior of our dear cats. The most common reason for this could be the fact that the place where she sleeps is uncomfortable. Cats sleep for almost 16 hours a day. If this is taken into consideration we will realize how much time they spend at the place where they sleep. So it is important that we make them perfect arrangements so as to help them get sound sleep and rest. After getting a pet cat we keep her as our own child. We try and fulfill all of her requirements. But many times we miss out on providing a perfect bed that would help our cats get a purr-fect sleep. See extra details Dog Toys Online Shopping.

The Kitty Cot is a window-mounted bed, held up by patented, super strong suction cups rated to hold 15 pounds each. The support cables are made from 1/8” stainless steel. This window-mounted cat bed is 26 inches long and has a depth of 14 inches, so be sure to measure your window first, though some people have had success making minor modifications to fit smaller windows. Cats love the high vantage point that this window perch provides. Many pet owners report that their cats can frequently be found in this spot over other cat beds, happily watching birds, squirrels, and more outside the window. One thing to note, though, is that the bed material is not cushioned and only comes in a standard color. Many people have modified it by adding a cushion or towel folded on top of the perch. Overall, though, the Kitty Cot is the clear favorite for a window-mounted cat bed.

Bengal cats are amazing. If you are looking for a companion pet we think that bengal kittens are a good choice. Putting a leash on most adult cats means also putting several painful scratches all over your forearms. A Bengal, however, is much easier to leash-train, even as an adult. It is recommended that your Bengal be a mostly indoor pet, due to its tendency and amazing ability to hunt birds. However, harness training will allow your Bengal to explore the outdoors safely under your watchful eye.

This is something that you may not notice if you’re just looking at a photograph of a Bengal. They have fur that is magnificently spotted and marbled and this is particular to every member of the breed, but some Bengals are more special than others. There is a certain gene that is passed through select Bengal lines that is known as the “glitter gene.” It makes their coat shimmer magnificently. As kittens, their coats are very fuzzy and it the color begins to blur. This is a part of the development process that begins at three weeks of age. It continues until the kitten is 16 weeks old, when the beautiful markings begin to emerge and they take on the physical traits of leopards. The hair is short and thick so it will need to be brushed weekly to distribute the natural oils evenly.

Are you looking forward to welcome a new companion to your home? Then you must think about welcoming a Bengal cat. Plenty of reasons are available for you to think about making this decision, instead of going for another cat breed or even a dog. Here are some of the best reasons available out of them. Bengal cats are pretty much similar to babies. They are noisy, but you will not be able to figure out the exact reason on why they are noisy. Bengal cats make noises when they are bored, curious and hungry. In some of the instances, they even make noises while begging for attention. It is true that cats prefer to remain high up. This is applicable for Bengal cats as well. You will be able to get into an enjoyable conversation along with your Bengal cat and you will fall in love with it. No matter the color or pattern, the Bengal cat is known for its wonderful outgoing personality. They are fearless and love to play! Their curious nature makes the Bengal the perfect pet for children and their adaptable nature makes them fit easily in to homes where resident pets already live. There is a high degree of variance in color intensity within the Bengal breed. No two Bengal’s are the same. The traditional brown colored Bengals have green or gold eyes and are never to have blue eyes. Other colors include Snow, Sepia, Silver, Marble, Blue and Black or Melanistic. Massage is known for its ability to offer both mental and physical relaxation. Physical touch reduces stress and has been shown to alleviate anxiety and aggression in nervous dogs. They become more used to human interaction and are positively rewarded for it by the physical pleasures of massage, all while healing their emotions. Calming and relaxing your dog will also help heal traumas and illnesses, so the relaxation aspect of massage helps here too.

A session of Reiki for dogs is a bit different. For starters, dogs aren’t usually apt to hop up on a massage table and lie quietly on their back for an hour. They may also prefer to receive Reiki from a distance, like across the room, rather than have the practitioner touch them. A good way to start is for the practitioner to sit on the floor with the dog in the room. Invite the dog to share in the Reiki session if the dog so desires.

Once the dog has absorbed all of the energy it feels it needs, it will walk away. Often, in my experience, before walking away, the dog will give me a sign of affection as a way to say, “Thank you”. This has usually taken the form of a ‘nose nuzzle’, ‘love lick’ or ‘love nibble’. Of course, I miss out on all the wonderful dog nuzzles, licks of affection and nibbles if I’m providing the Reiki session remotely. When I perform an in-person Reiki session, I will ask the client to have their dog in their most relaxing or favorite room. I want to make sure their dog is comfortable, relaxed and familiar with their surroundings. They don’t need to hold their dog in place or force them to stay on a bed or table. The Reiki energy will flow throughout their dog no matter where they are in the room. Often, they will lie beside me and allow me to gently move or place my hands over various parts of their body.

The word “Reiki” is derived from the Japanese terms “higher power” and “life force energy,” and was popularized in the early 20th century in Japan. It’s used in human circles for spiritual healing, stress relief, and self improvement—but what about Reiki for dogs? Can it help canine conditions, and what do you need to know to get started?

Reiki energy can be given to your dog in regularly scheduled intervals or as needed. Because it is a gentle and non-invasive energy modality, it can be used safely with any animal no matter the age, size or breed. Recently I provided Reiki for my client’s dog that was suffering from a chronic ear infection. The veterinarian prescribed some ear ointment that needed to be placed in both ears of their dog twice a day for two weeks. This can be a real challenge when a dog is not feeling well and doesn’t want you to touch it, let alone place a greasy ointment in its ears. I provided Reiki for their dog each day in order to support the dog’s physical healing as well as to provide a calming energy for their dog. This allowed their dog to stay calm during each of the twice-daily ointment treatments and their dog accepted them doing the treatments by lying still during these times.

Canine Massage Helps Calm Coco: Many of us know how stressful it is to have work done on our homes. Sometimes, it can be even worse for our pets. Already a bit cautious, Coco was quite anxious after living through a recent home remodel. “Gillian has been amazing with our dog Coco. He is very cautious around people and it takes him a while to warm up to them. Also, Coco has been disturbed by a recent home remodel. Even under these circumstances, Gillian managed to get through to Coco, gaining his trust. At the first appointment, Coco would not let Gillian touch his paws or back half, but through communication and sensitivity, she made great progress and is now able to fully massage Coco. Thanks to Gillian, we see positive changes in Coco’s disposition. She also gave us some tips on how to continue to calm Coco.” Source: https://fourpawsholistictherapy.com/.
