We Fall Down – Donnie McClurkin: This song was part of the 2000 album titled Live in London and More. The message in the song is that, despite the challenges we face, we must not be defeated. If we fall down, we should wake up and continue with the journey. This song is the best choice for those going through challenging situations.

Forming in the 30s, the Blind Boys of Alabama continue to plough their sacred furrow into this century, though their line-up and sound have changed over the decades. In 2001, they released this stunning release on Peter Gabriel’s Real World imprint. It won the award for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album at the Grammy Awards, while their interpretation of Tom Waits’ ‘Way Down in the Hole’ became the theme song for acclaimed TV series The Wire.

In the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16), Jesus compares workers’ wages to the kingdom of heaven. He describes a landowner who hires groups of workers at various points in the day. His first workers agree to work for one denarius, equal to about one day’s wages. As the day goes on, workers who began at the third, sixth, ninth, and eleventh hour are likewise hired with the promise of being paid “whatever is right” at the end of the day (Matt. 20:4).

What a wonderful way to start your day. Ah, yes, the weekend is finally here. Friday and Saturday came and went, and inevitably, Sunday morning rolls around. If you’re like most Catholics, the thought of going to church is somewhere in your mind – even if it’s waaayy far back there. You know you should go, that’s what a good Catholic would do. You want to be a good Catholic, you really do. But this is your day off, and you’re tired. And let’s be honest – the snooze button seems a lot more appealing.

Sanctuary – Jessy Dixon: Dixon released this song in 2006. The song also includes famous gospel musicians Bill Gaither and Gloria Gaither. The message in this song is simple; pleading with the Lord to make us holy and pure. This song is the best choice for anyone who yearns to be filled with Holy Spirit. This is the best choice for anyone trapped in faith. Adams reminds them never to give up or abandon their faith. The song was released in 2001 as part of her Believe Album. It encourages the audience to gather courage and persevere any temptations they may be going through. Imagine Me – Kirk Franklin: The song was released in 2005, and it has remained one of the best Christian music songs of all time. It won several awards, including Grammy Awards for Gospel Music in 2007. The song has a message to remind all religious people to focus their life on Christ. It also preaches the Gospel of overcoming all the hardships and worries we may be facing. See additional details at https://gospeljingle.com/.

Doja Cat photos with PeepTown? After a hiatus from releasing music and the uneventful rollout of her debut studio album, Amala (2018), Doja Cat earned viral success as an internet meme with her 2018 single “Mooo!”, a novelty song in which she makes satirical claims about being a cow. Capitalizing on her growing popularity, she released her second studio album, Hot Pink, in the following year. It reached the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 and spawned the single “Say So”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart following the release of a remix featuring Nicki Minaj. This album was followed by Planet Her (2021), which spent three consecutive weeks at number two on the Billboard 200 and spawned the top 10 singles “Kiss Me More” (featuring SZA), “Need to Know” and “Woman”. Find more details at casual Doja Cat.

The end of 2019 was when Doja Cat had her breakthrough into the mainstream. She began to reach major success in October 2019 when she released “Bottom Bitch”, the lead single from her second album. This was followed by the release of the single “Rules” alongside the announcement of her second studio album Hot Pink. Hot Pink was released on November 7, 2019 to generally favorable reviews. The album would eventually peak at number 9 on the Billboard 200. She later released the single “Boss Bitch” as part of the soundtrack for the 2020 film Birds of Prey.

In late August 2018, Doja Cat sparked controversy on social media when her Twitter account history revealed the usage of derogatory language toward gay people. In a tweet dating back to 2015, she used a slur word to describe hip hop artists Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt. Doja Cat initially defended her past remarks, but eventually issued a series of apologies for her words and has since deleted her tweets. As a result of the controversy, Doja Cat was declared the Milkshake Duck of 2018 by NME.

Soon after her birth, Doja and her mom moved to New York City, where they lived for five years. Her family later moved back to California in Oak Park, where her mother enrolled her in ballet, tap and jazz lessons from the age of five. Her aunt, a singer, gave her singing lessons to help her get into a performing arts school. Her family then moved near the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles when she was 11 years old, where they lived in an ashram in the mountains of Agoura Hills and practiced Hinduism for four years. During this time of her life Doja would wear head-covering scarves and sing bhajans at temple. She claims that she lacked interest in school from then on, instead taking a liking for dance. While at the ashram she had been dancing the style of Indian classical dance called Bharatanatyam. As she grew older and moved away from the ashram, she moved onto breakdancing classes and joined a professional poplocking troupe with whom she competed in dance battles throughout Los Angeles while still attending high school. She also frequently skipped school to participate in online chatrooms. She eventually dropped out of high school at 16 during her junior year.

Doja Cat has said, There are people who rap in a certain way, because they want to do something so elaborate and so smart that makes you go, ‘Oh my God, I would’ve never thought of that. But I’d rather be the other end of that, which is being ignorant and stupid and saying whatever I want. She has also stated, I try not to be political… I’m more like, ‘I don’t give a fuck, I never think about what I write. I just write whatever the first thing that comes to my mind is. Doja Cat maintains that an artist’s intention is just as relevant as any external interpretation, saying, Like, I just love romance and sex … because there’s nothing ‘-ist’ about what I do. In May 2020, a 2015 song by Doja Cat titled “Dindu Nuffin” resurfaced. “Dindu Nuffin” is an alt-right term used to ridicule African-American victims of police brutality who claim they are innocent. After apologizing, Doja Cat said that while the song was intended to flip the term’s meaning, it was a “bad decision”. She took to Instagram to address multiple accusations and past actions after footage began circulating of her on Tinychat in a chat room saying the n-word to members of the alt-right/incel community. She apologized to those offended and said she shouldn’t have been on certain chat room sites, although she maintained that she had never been involved in any racist conversations. Frequent users of the chat room later came forth and revealed that the nature of the chatroom was not specifically racist, also saying that Doja Cat never said anything discriminatory in her conversations. In June 2020, she donated $100,000 to the Justice For Breonna Taylor Fund, in support of Taylor’s family.

Starting in September 2020, Doja Cat began releasing hints of her third studio album. In March 2021, she revealed to V Magazine that it was nearly done. In this same interview, Doja Cat revealed the album’s official title, Planet Her, and its prospective release window of summer 2021. She also revealed that it would feature a collaboration with SZA titled Kiss Me More. The song reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. With an accompanying music video, the song was released as the lead single from the album on April 9, 2021. Later that month, Doja Cat performed the songs Best Friend with Saweetie, Rules, Streets and a solo version of Kiss Me More at Triller’s inaugural Fight Club event. On April 23, 2021, Doja Cat released an NFT marketplace titled Juicy Drops. In May 2021, Doja Cat won the award for Top Female R&B Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, where she performed Kiss Me More with SZA. Later that month, she performed a solo version of the same song in a medley with Streets and Say So at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she won the award for Best New Pop Artist. The song Need to Know served as a promotional single from Planet Her as it was released on June 11, 2021. Doja Cat wrote that it was released in anticipation of the more important second single, which is confirmed to be You Right featuring The Weeknd. Doja Cat officially announced the release of Planet Her and revealed its tracklist and album art via social media a few hours before the release of Need to Know. The album received generally positive reviews from music critics and became the biggest weekly debut for an album by a female rapper in Spotify’s history. Find more information at peeptown.com.

Crave Moore and PartyNextDoor colab upcoming? Crave Moore was spotted with PartyNextDoor so more rumours regarding a collaboration between the two started to appear, with Atlantic being the probable record label to be involved.

Crave Moore on hip hop artist fashion trends in 2022: Conventional wisdom in the fashion world is that if you select one print, the next thing you do is to balance it with subtle solids and neutral pieces. Now, many performers and show-goers are bringing the opposite: they are wearing all at once. Their boldest, brightest, and probably most beloved prints, all are worn at once. That being said, crimson, sky, burgundy, olive, and citron; all these colors will be highly present in the 2022 collections, painting streets with tons of bright and noticeable colors.

The generational gap within hip-hop will always exist because older fans are allergic to change and younger fans’ knowledge of the past only goes but so far. The funniest part of this is almost every rap fan will be at both ends of the spectrum in one lifetime. The solution is acceptance on both ends: that rap will always evolve and sound different as it continues on, and that your entry into rap is not the start or end of it. Boom. That was easy. Please, let the youth listen to what they want.

In the early 90s, a wave of hip-hop protest started gaining momentum in the US. This, in turn, led to the emergence of a group like Public Enemy. One of the most successful hip-hop groups of their time, they were known for their popular song Fight the Power. Public Enemy introduced a new stream of social protest into hip-hop in the 1990s. With lyrics that are just as relevant now, they have become synonymous with the movement.

Looking at the world of music, it moves so quickly now, and that comes with positive and negative sides to it. The pace at which album releases happen, means you can find a new favorite artist every week. The other side of that is rap fans expect their favorite artists to constantly flood the market. Nearly every buzzing or bigger artist has experienced it; the hip-hop community celebrates an artist’s most recent project only to demand they drop more songs, leaks or snippets they played four months ago. This isn’t really sustainable, and fans need to practice more patience. There’s a great debate over which artists are actually rappers, too.

Best African music 2022 with Audu Maikori? Meet Audu Maikori, a pioneer and promoter of Afrobeat music , media and entertainment Entrepreneur & entertainment lawyer focused on film, Esports and TV. I have since diversified into Esports, and film and it’s such an exciting space watching the fast-changing landscape knowing that its not only fulfilling but also creates wealth and jobs for many young people- and its even more exciting operating from one of the most exciting cities in the world – New York! And initially it seemed a little overwhelming but the same principles apply in every project or job or work- put your head down, listen, learn and work hard, and eventually things will work out. So I simply applied the principles I learned in music, transaction advisory, and deal structuring to Esports and its so very fulfilling to see the outcomes.

Audu Maikori is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, lawyer and creative industry expert. In 2018, he was invited to join the board of Unanimous Games LLC – a 360 Esports digital company based in New York – that focuses on mobile game development, Esports activations, Content creation , STEM Education and talent management. As Executive Director and Partnerships lead, his portfolio includes companies like Rocnation, BET Networks, PUMA, AfroIsland Initiative and the Government of Barbados. He is a passionate advocate for social justice and entrepreneurship as the key to economic empowerment. He has served on various entrepreneurial judging panels including – Microsoft’s Passion to Empire, Etisalat Prize for Innovation, She Leads Africa, Chivas The Venture Competition and served as judge on the M.I.T Inclusive Innovation Global competition in 2018 and 2019.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more? I am involved in several businesses and my role differs in each of them- but for the purpose of this conversation – you can say that like every entrepreneur – when the business(Chocolate City Music) started – I was involved in a lot of the ideation, strategy and visioning alongside my partners Paul and Yahaya but as CEO I was involved in mostly executing our vision – the vision then was to create a local company that could help talented youth to achieve their artistic and creative dreams commercially without losing their authenticity.

Audu Maikori: Even till today, I am still overcoming it. You must face challenges at every stage of your progress. The only difference is that as you get more successful, maybe the challenges will change but they are all equally challenges. But the first thing that helped me overcome the challenges is that right from the beginning, I didn’t start as one entrepreneur. I had partners. I had Yahaya Maikori (my brother) and Paul Okeugo, whom we sat together and created this company. We worked hard to build it together. So at every point, like when I am down then Paul can support. If Paul is down then Yahaya can support. Three heads are better than one.

It’s been a busy last few weeks for Group CEO of Chocolate City Entertainment, Audu Maikori. Once you mention that you’re from Nigeria, their eyes light up, and they say, “Wow! Nigeria, we’ve heard so much!”. He credits the ubiquity of African culture in mainstream media for this change in reaction, pointing to defining cultural events such as Black Panther, and the unprecedented growth of the Afrobeats genre.

ESAIYO, a data fabric company, has added Roberto Clemente Jr. and Audu Maikori to their team. Mr. Clemente and Mr. Maikori will be serving as brand ambassadors and will also be joining ESAIYO’s advisory board. Their additions bring expertise that better position the company in expanding its “Infrastructure as a Service” offering internationally and in the US. Audu Maikori is a lawyer with multi sectoral legal experience in infrastructure, public transport systems, privatization and intellectual property. He is also a multi award winning entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of working in the media and entertainment industry. Read additional info at Audu Maikori.

Premium books by Mocienne Jackson? He sold out the Wembley Stadium 7 Times: The demand was such that he could have sold it 20 times in a row but his schedule intervened meaning he had to pick only 7 dates to perform. He has a Moon Crater Named After Him: The crater was previously called Posidonus J, but we suspect the crater likes its new name much better. He was Cast to Play Peter Pan: As a performer with Peter Pan Syndrome, or the desire to always be young, you may be surprised to find out Jackson actually turned down playing Peter Pan in the 1991 movie Hook. He simply felt his vision did not match what the director was looking for.

People like to say you are mentally ill if they cannot handle the truth about something or someone. In this case that would be the truth about Michael Jackson and me, Mocienne Elizabeth. They worship artists like they are Gods and drop them like hot bricks when they become big stars. The lives of artists have shown that their stardom is an illusion that makes us want to rise above ourselves. Because I work in the healthcare I have a great interest in many organisations. I read daily about what is happening in this world. My interest in the world began when I was nine years old and I saw humanity right Gandi on the newspaper. As a small child I was so impressed about this man, it has changed my live. In the darkness of my time this man learned me to always take control of the human being of who you are inside. Gandi believed in the goodness of human and he learned me to see that, so I could respect people like Nelson Mandela, Kennedy’s and Martin Luther King and people who dedicated their live for humitarian rights, like this wonderful woman around me, politician Els Borst, who I had the pleasure to meet and I have great respect for her euthanasie law in the Netherlands. Discover even more information on Michael Jackson books.

At present, Mocienne Petit Jackson is seeking to make a name for herself as her own individual. In 2005, she founded the private healthcare organization Thuiszorg Ernestine BV, based in the Netherlands, which she currently oversees as the CEO. Ms Jackson is also the founder and owner of Petit Production. Ms Jackson also claims that her father had a tendency to exhibit unusual behaviour which she believes may have arisen from the knowledge that he had kept his daughter in secret since the age of seventeen years. Michael Jackson allegedly did not discuss the topic openly because it was difficult and frightening for him to come to terms with.

Get to know Mocienne Petit Jackson and some of her books? Jackson established nerve centers at Record One and Larrabee Studios, just a few miles down Ventura Blvd. The latter had the SSL mixing console that Riley needed to make the tracks slap, and despite his pop reputation, Jackson wanted his new songs as hard as humanly possible. Engineers remember Jackson demanding that they play the New Jack Swing songs so loud that your ears bled. He invariably blew up a pair of headphones each session. As you’d expect, the recording process boasted its requisite share of idiosyncrasy. Nancy Reagan visited the studio once, requiring the Secret Service to search the place for hours prior to her visit. Brooke Shields called frequently to talk to Michael, who materialized every day in the same black dress pants and red button-down shirt (he had a clothing rack of just two items).

Mocienne Petit Jackson’s (Michael Jackson’s daughter) books are now out in Spanish! Part two of the three-part autobiography of Mocienne Petit Jackson starts with an extended description of the kidnapping of Mocienne and her life in The Netherlands. Subsequently we read how her life turned out with her adoptive family – where she and her cousin Délivrance stayed.Gradually she discovers that her real father is Michael Jackson. At the age of 15 she left her adoptive family, lived at a boarding school for 4 years and then got a place of her own. We follow her throughout the time when she passed through her teenage years and entered maturity – which was not always easy.Mocienne meets a man who she has a child with. However, this commitment was not to be.We learn about the problems she encounters with the Child Protection Services, followed by many court cases. At first, the court cases related to her own situation, later on they turned into a battle for her son. The one unacceptable situation followed yet another unacceptable situation. We also learn about the many traumatic events of the main character, her depressions and countless struggles to process the misery linked to her life and her strife to let it go. The writer clearly explains these struggles through vivid flashbacks.

It’s strange, too. For instance, at the time of Jackson’s death, people kept saying to one another, “I can’t believe he’s gone.” When had anyone seen him? Save for headlines or tabloids, Jackson spent most of his time during the ’00s out of the spotlight. Even when he released 2001’s highly underrated Invincible, he made little to no appearances. Sure, Sony botched any plans on promotion, but it was nothing a world tour wouldn’t have solved. That’s why the release of Michael, Jackson’s first posthumous effort, feels relatively similar. The interest is there, but the icon isn’t.

When Michael Jackson was alive, I received anonymous phone calls that my son Joshua would be kidnapped. Therefore I had to bring him to his father in 2003. In 2010 I ended up in the world media after I had made a request to the US court to do a DNA test with the now deceased artist Michael Jackson. The entertainment industry thought it was a strange story, with the result that people on various websites and in newspapers called me wrong.

Skipping over his teenage albums is just silly – I mean, would you skip Brandy’s debut album just because she was 15 when it dropped? Playa please. Y’all gotta do better. Oh and let me clarify the word “entire.” While most of your favorite bloggers like to pretend that Michael Jackson’s career started in 1979 with Off the Wall, that was FAR from the case. We’ll be revisiting MJ’s TOTAL solo discography, going all the way back to his 1972 debut.

Part two of Mocienne Petit Jackson’s autobiographical trilogy begins with an extensive description of Mocienne’s abduction to the Netherlands. We then read how she fares in the adoptive family where she ends up together with her niece Delivrance. Along the way, Mocienne discovers that her father is Michael Jackson. When she is fifteen years old she leaves the adoptive family, lives in a boarding school for four years and then goes to live independently.

Michael Jackson Weight: At the time of his death, the autopsy report listed that Michael Jackson’s weight was 132 pounds, which is actually in the normal range for his height. Many speculate, however, that he weighed much less than that during the late 1990s and 2000s. Although the artist had always been quite skinny,(he listed his weight on his driver’s license as 120 pounds in the 1980s) he only seemed to get thinner in the years approaching his death. This is likely due to the cocktail combination of drugs his in-home doctor has prescribed to him.
