Playing games in your browser is the most convenient way to play games. Accessible from anywhere, from any device. What games can you play in browser, either using Java, Javascript, Flash or Html5 engines? A game doesn’t need to be groundbreaking to offer high levels of entertainment and Soul Game Studios’ Rogue Soul can attest to that. The aptly-titled platformer throws players in the role of a hooded ninja named Rogue Soul, an able miscreant who prides himself in being the city’s finest and most allusive thief. However, when rival bandit Borin Hood garners all the praise (and a 5,000-soulon reward), Rogue Soul takes it upon himself to reclaim his title and wreak havoc on the Aladdin-esque landscape through a series of scrolling levels. Players will find themselves running, sliding, and jumping their way through the cartoonish city streets as they knock out local militia, traverse fatal pits, and hand out flowers in exchange for ability upgrades. However, it’s not the gameplay itself making Rouge Soul a knockout, but the fluidity of the mechanics. There are few more enjoyable moments in the Flash world than sliding beneath a fence and throwing a dagger at a spearman before nabbing a treasure chest for the win.
Other browser games news : A favourite web game of mine, even before I began researching for this list, Diep.io has more recently seen the success of the previously mentioned Agar.io, and is similar in many ways. Players start life as a blue dot equipped with a single shot weapon. As they destroy the small coloured blocks around them, the dot can be upgraded to be faster, or shoot further, or just have more health, and eventually the option is given to diversify into specific classes, and hunt larger prey. The action develops with the player, starting small and shooting the nearby coloured squares and eventually growing into the most powerful player in the game.
Wormax.io : This game is very similar to Slither.io. In this game, we spawn as a worm and have to eat small colorful dots and snowflakes to grow. Our worm will die if its face touches another worm’s body. There are powers which spawn in a glass ball which we can take to gain its benefit. We can also speed up, but it will cause some loss of food, points, and our worm’s length.
You can also play adventure and arcade games in browser : HeliHopper is a helicopter game that involves quite a lot of hopping and an awful lot of crashing. In part, this is probably because helicopters are primarily designed for zooming through the air rather than jumping around like frogs, but there you go. The aim of HeliHopper is simple: using a basic slingshot mechanism (think Angry Birds), you must direct your helicopter to another landing pad. Depending on the particular level you’re tackling, you might be able to nudge the helicopter mid-flight, collect bling, or complete several painstakingly precise ‘flights’ in a row. An ideal arcade blast for quick sessions, HeliHopper provides a set of defined missions and nine endless modes. Although if you never want to set foot in a helicopter after smashing hundreds of the things here, don’t blame us. Play free online bubble shooter games on Collepic.net!
Coming from the same developer as Gridland (also in this list) and supplying a similar ‘thrive ’n’ survive’ challenge, A Dark Room nevertheless takes a very different tack. It’s a text- and menu-driven adventure in which you build up and maintain a successful community in a harsh wilderness. Logistics and supply management are as important as surviving animal attacks, and the adventure can be long and gruelling. Fortunately, you can save progress in your browser and continue at a later date.
